The present invention pertains to a transmission gear of an automobile or the like, wherein two gears are formed in the shape of circular truncated cones, in which an upper portion and a lower portion have different diameters from each other and are engaged with each other so as to rotate. The two gears in the shape of the circular truncated cones slidingly move in the opposite direction from each other according to a rotational speed and in the direction of a rotation shaft, such that rotation ratios change with respect to the changes in the size of the diameters at the teeth line portions of the circular truncated cones, which rotate in contact with each other. Therefore, smooth automatic transmission can be obtained according to the speed without any additional mechanical devices or operations and an optimal ratio between force and speed is maintained throughout all the rotational areas of the transmission device, so that fuel mileage can increase and overloads with respect to engine-related devices is minimized. |
