The device (10) has an antenna for receiving electromagnetic waves, where the device is formed to receive signals (11) that are filtered out at a preprocessing unit. The device is formed to determine signal properties of the received signals and to output an alarm signal (13) when the signal property does not belong to portion of permissible signal properties, where the signal property is or a combination of type of modulation, symbol rate and cyclostationary pattern. The received signal is subjected to a cyclostationary signal analysis to obtain signal property as a result of the analysis.
