MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent device including an electroluminescent material by attaching an element substrate provided with a light-emitting element and a sealing substrate to each other without thermally damaging the light-emitting element.

SOLUTION: A dissimilar metal multilayer sheet 108 in which at least two kinds of metal layers are stacked is held between outer peripheral parts on one or both of an element substrate 102 provided with an EL element 104 and a sealing substrate 106 facing and attached to the element substrate 102. The sheet part is irradiated with a focused beam to heat the irradiated part, thereby making the at least two kinds of metal into an alloy. With the heat generated at the time of making the alloy, the element substrate 102 and the sealing substrate 106 are attached to each other.
