<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display print data laid out in multi lines while maintaining a good visibility so that a state of the layout can be confirmed. <P>SOLUTION: A tape printing apparatus 1 includes: a keyboard 11 for input of a character code being the print data and a line feed code being the layout of the print data; a display unit 12; a data dividing unit 311 for dividing the print data into a plurality of blocks on the basis of the layout input by the keyboard 11; a preview display control unit 312 for displaying a character string by scrolling it using the display unit 12, for each of the blocks divided by the data dividing unit 311; and a thermal head 15 for printing the character string on a tape-shaped tape T in accordance with the layout input by the keyboard 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
