<p>An enhanced-path switching method, a host base station and a relay node RN apparatus. The method comprises: after an RN is switched and connected to a new host base station, the RN or a target host base station sending downlink bearer information to be changed by a user equipment that still camps on a cell of the RN to a mobility management entity (MME) of the user equipment to request the MME to switch a downlink data tunnel endpoint for the user equipment. The technical solution, when a host base station of an RN is changed, switches a downlink data path for a UE that still camps on the cell of the RN and performs corresponding bearer update, so that the RN, after leaving the source base station and being connected to a target base station through a switching procedure, is still able to provide a normal communication service for the UE.</p> |
