The medical instrument (10) has a hollow structure provided over the longitudinal edges (32,33) of several partial structures (12,14). Each partial structure has distal portion (16) and one angled proximal portion (18). An elastomeric seal lip provided at longitudinal edges is projected and pressed into a recess in the opposite longitudinal edge (34), when joining the partial structures together. The seal lip is designed as elastomeric strand.
