<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that since buttons (selection keys) for selecting a plurality of applications are displayed on a display screen of one operation panel of an image forming apparatus, the number of application selection keys that can be added is limited. <P>SOLUTION: In response to input of a program from an external network through an I/F unit to an image forming apparatus, it is determined whether or not a selection key for selectively instructing the program inputted from input means can be further displayed on a first display screen (Fig. 14) for displaying the selection keys corresponding to programs already registered in the image forming apparatus.
