<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device which is made compact as a whole and promptly dries a supplied material to be dried. <P>SOLUTION: The drying device comprises: a rotary drum 1 including a cylindrical filter cartridge 11 which is coiled by a porous plate 13, whose both ends are sealed by end plates 12, and whose inner side serves as a drying chamber 2; a rotating mechanism 3 rotating the rotary drum 1; and a heating and blowing mechanism 4 forcibly sending heated air into the rotary drum 1. The rotary drum 1 includes a rod cylinder 5 in which a plurality of rods 15 are arranged into a cylindrical form and apart from the inner side of the filter cartridge 11 and divide the drying chamber 2 into a first drying chamber 2A and a second drying chamber 2B. The drying device functions in such a manner that: a material to be dried supplied to the first drying chamber 2A though an opening 20 is dried in the first drying chamber 2A of the rotated rotary drum 1; the material is made to pass through a dropping gap 16 to drop into the second drying chamber 2B; and the material further dried in the second drying chamber 2B is made to pass through the through-holes 14 of the porous plate 13 and discharged to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
