<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel aniline derivative having pharmaceutical actions such as excellent neuroprotective action, neurogenesis (neurorestorative) promoting action and cognitive function improving action. <P>SOLUTION: The aniline derivative is a compound represented by formula (I) or a salt thereof, wherein ring A is an aromatic hydrocarbon ring which may have a substituent or a 5- or 6-membered aromatic heterocycle which may have a substituent; ring B may further have a substituent; ring D is a 6-membered aromatic ring which may have a substituent; X is -O-, -NR<SP POS="POST">a</SP>- or methylene which may have a substituent; R<SP POS="POST">a</SP>is H or a substituent; n is 1 or 2; and R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>may be the same or different and represent H, halogen, cyano, acyl, 1-6C alkoxy which may have a substituent, amino which may have a substituent, 3-6C cycloalkyl which may have a substituent, 3-6C cycloalkoxy which may have a substituent, or 1-6C alkyl which may have a substituent other than carboxy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
