摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a noise reduction technique which can be contributed to power reduction while maintaining an image with high definition in spite of high sensitivity by highly accurately detecting and correcting only a column offset from imaging signals. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is provided which comprises an imaging device. The imaging device includes an effective pixel part where a plurality of pixels are arrayed two-dimensionally in a row direction and a column direction, and a light-shielding pixel part which is provided in a terminal portion of at least the column direction in the effective pixel part. The imaging apparatus further comprises column offset detection means, correction means and control means. The column offset detection means detects a column offset component for each column by performing circulation arithmetic operation based on a weighted average on the same column in the light-shielding pixel part. The correction means performs circulation arithmetic operation while succeeding the column offset component detected by the column offset detection means for a plurality of frames and corrects the column offset superimposed on the effective pixel part by subtracting the column offset calculated for each circulation arithmetic operation from an output signal of the effective pixel part. The control means divides the light-shielding pixel part into a plurality of blocks for each pixel region to be read out for one frame and controls the block to be read out for each frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
