<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuyere block which can be further reduced in wearing speed. <P>SOLUTION: Related to a gas-blowing surface of the tuyere block containing metallic fine pipe group arranged in a furnace, the maximum zone surrounded with segments connecting both center positions of the metallic fine pipes is made to be a tuyere existing zone, and with the minimum circle, containing the whole of the tuyere existing zone, as the standard circle, the tuyere existing zone is divided into an inside tuyere existing zone and an outside tuyere existing zone with the circles having the same center as that of the standard circle and having 2/3 radius relative to that of the standard circle. When the area of the inside tuyere existing zone is indicated as TAi, the area of the outside tuyere existing zone is indicated as TAo, and when the total gas flow passage cross-sectional area of the metallic fine pipes containing the center position in the inside existing zone is indicated as GAi and the total gas flow passage cross-sectional area of the metallic fine pipes containing the center position in the outside existing zone is indicated as GAo, the metallic fine pipes are arranged so as to satisfy the following formula: 0.1≤(GAo/TAo)/(GAi/TAi)≤0.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
