<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device for aerogeneration that continues operation by changing and controlling an electric power supply time for thermal protection according to the output electric power and rotating speed of a generator, and the electric power consumption level of a chopper and the frequency of its FRT. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion part 14 receives a first torque command 11 output from a generator control system 10, and calculates a power command 16. Subtraction between the power command 16 and output power 19 is carried out, and a power deviation 18 is output and input to a thermal model 15. Simultaneously, a second power operation part 21 calculates a power consumption by a resistance 7 connected to the output of a chopper 3, and inputs the power consumption to the thermal model 15. The thermal model 15 outputs a second torque command 13 based upon the power deviation 18 and/or power consumption a limit of a calculated time later, and the second torque command 13 is input to a second subtracter 12, which performs subtraction between the first torque command 11 and second torque command 13 and outputs the result to a generator-side converter 2 to perform torque control over an aerogenerator 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
