PURPOSE: A ball valve with a strainer built in a ball is provided to facilitate the replacement and maintenance of a strainer by reducing the number of components. CONSTITUTION: A ball valve(100) with a strainer built in a ball comprises a valve body(110), an opening and closing ball(120), a valve stem(130), end pieces(141,142), and a strainer unit(150). The opening and closing ball is received inside the valve body to block the flow stream of fluid. The valve stem is coupled to the opening and closing ball to rotate the opening and closing ball. The end pieces have valve seats(170,171) attached to the opening and closing ball and are coupled to pipes. The strainer unit filters foreign materials in the pipes. The valve body has a strainer opening part(112). The strainer unit is installed inside the opening and closing ball.
