<p>A subject for the invention is to provide a method of using an adhesive patch employing a grooved liner, by which the liner can be easily peeled off. The invention provides a method of using an adhesive patch which includes a backing, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one surface of the backing, and a liner having a thickness T and laminated on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which the liner has a groove formed from the surface opposite to the surface on which the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is laminated and having a depth of from T/2 to less than T, and the groove has a plane shape which enables the liner to be divided into two or more liner pieces by the groove,
