The device (1) has a clamping element (4) including two bearing surfaces (4a, 4b) respectively engaged in two holes, which are opened respectively into two enclosures. A fixing unit i.e. fixing screw, fixes the clamping element on a body (10) in a fixing position in which the bearing surfaces extend via the holes to exert pressure on two profiled sections (2a, 2b) when the sections are received within the enclosures. The body defines a housing shaped in a manner such that the clamping element is interlocked in the housing.
