FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to method of obtaining organosoluble copolymers of alkyl methaacrylates with carboxyl-containing monomers. Described is method of suspension polymerisation of alkyl methacrylate with carboxyl-containing monomer in water medium in presence if initiator of radical type, stabilising agent and modifying additive - cyclohexanol, characterised by polimerisation of C1-C4alkyl esters of methacrylic acid with 1-10 wt % by methacrilic, acrylic or 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, as stabilising agent used are 0.005-0.2 wt fr per 100 wt fr. of mixture of monomers of copolymer, containing 60-90 wt % of sulfoacrylamide, selected from group, which includes 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid and 10-40 wt % of C1-C4alkyl ester of methacrylic acid or acrylonitryl, cyclohexanol being used in amount 0.5-1.0 wt fr. per 100.0 wt fr. of monomer mixture. ^ EFFECT: increase of output and quality of organosoluble suspension copolymer due to reduction in it of emulsion copolymer. ^ 1 tbl, 35 ex |
