PURPOSE: A processing system for a vernacular address query and a method thereof are provided to connect to a domain name server and massively generates/manages vernacular addresses, thereby disseminating a vernacular address service including Hangul. CONSTITUTION: An address determining unit(110) searches a vernacular address in an address query inputted from a user terminal. When the vernacular address is included, a forwarding unit(120) forwards the address query to a designated resolution server. A transmitting unit(130) transmits to the user terminal by receiving a mapped target server address corresponding to the vernacular address from the designated resolution server. The address determining unit sets a server distinguishing the vernacular address as a first forwarding server in the address query and forwards the address query and receives whether or not identification for the vernacular address from the first forwarding server.
