PRESS FORM MOUNTING METHOD IN BADGE PRODUCTION DEVICE

A button making device capable of simply exchanging a first pressed mold, a second pressed mold, and a pressing mold so as to produce buttons of different sizes; a polygonal button whose front surface plate is dome-wise curved and has its shape fixed; and such a button making device, are provided. The button making device 1 comprises a sliding platform 100 provided on an upper surface of a base 2, first and second pressed molds 110 and 140 arranged on the sliding platform 100, a fixed member 20 fixed to an upper part of the base 2 via struts 16, 17, a pressing shaft 30 provided on the fixed member 20 capable of moving in the vertical direction, a pressing mold 40 provided on a lower end of the pressing shaft 30 for making a button 200 by connecting with the first pressed mold 110 and the second pressed mold 140, and an operation means 32 for operating the pressing shaft 30. The first pressed mold 110 and the second pressed mold 140 are provided on an attachment member 191 which is removably attached to the sliding platform 100. The pressing mold 40 is removably attached to a lower end of the pressing shaft 30 using magnetic force. A button making device 801 has a pressing mold 1040 which makes a polygonal button 1000 by connecting with a pressed mold 1140. The pressed mold 1140 comprises a mounting platform 1141 for mounting a rear cover 1011 and a processing platform 1155 which is provided in a periphery of the mounting platform 1141 and which bends a peripheral edge 1003 of a front cover 1001 to a side of a peripheral edge 1013 of the rear cover 1011. The processing platform 1155 holds a corner section 1005 of the front cover 1001 fast to a corner section 1015 of the rear cover 1011 by a corner inclined edge 1163 so as to produce a polygonal button.
