<p>The block (1) has a cooling module (6) evacuating heat from a power train (4), and a bonnet (7) arranged above the power train and the module. The bonnet partially covers the power train and the module. The module is fixed to the bonnet through a retaining bracket (17) below the bonnet in a space (13) arranged between an upper surface of the power train and a lower surface of the bonnet. The bracket presents a mechanical characteristic such that the bonnet deforms without allowing the lower surface of the bonnet to be in contact with an upper surface of the module, during pedestrian impact. The mechanical characteristic is an addendum modification distance (19) of the upper surface of the cooling module relative to the lower surface of the bonnet, or is a tear resistance. The cooling module includes an element selected from elements including a power train radiator (8), an air conditioning condenser (9), a charge-air intercooler and a fan (10).</p> |
