PURPOSE: An electrical discharge machining system of a tape and an electrical discharge machining method of a tape using the same are provided to reduce damage to a machining electrode by minimizing frictional force caused by the machining electrode. CONSTITUTION: An electrical discharge machining system(1) of a tape comprises an EDM(electrical discharge machining) module(100). The EDM module comprises machining electrodes(50,52), a supply unit(31), an electrode guide(40), and a collection unit(32). The machining electrodes machine a workpiece(23). The supply unit supplies the machining electrodes to the electrode guide. The electrode guide is arranged adjacent to the workpiece and guides the supply of the machining electrodes. The collection unit collects the used machining electrodes.
