<p>The tank (4) has a rigid casing (13) defining a housing. A flexible pocket (14) is sealingly mounted in the housing of the casing and connected to an exhaust line (6) of an internal combustion engine (3), and contains liquid additive. The casing is realized by blow molding simultaneously with the pocket that is made of thermoplastic material. The pocket is realized from two flexible films welded to each other or two flexible half-shells welded to each other, where the two half-shells are realized by injection or thermoforming process. The pocket has a neck equipped with connection units. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a selective catalytic reduction system to treat exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle, comprising a liquid additive tank (2) a method for filling a liquid additive tank with liquid additive.</p> |
