An auxiliary housing (5) has ultrasonic transducer (4) for transmitting and receiving ultrasound signals, and an arithmetic unit containing electronic components, by which signal processing is performed. The ultrasonic transducer is provided in the region of main housing and auxiliary housing head is partially filled with sealing compound.
