<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet storage tray which does not need to delay the start of drawing out of a paper sheet for the removal of paper powder, and can remove the sheet powder at the side end face of the paper sheet simply, surely and at low cost; and to provide an image forming device using the same, which image forming device can form image with suppressed image noise such as sheet size memory caused by paper powder. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet storage tray 120 includes: a position determination member 124 for determining positions of both side ends of a sheet in a sheet width direction β crossing the drawing direction α of the paper sheet S; and a paper powder removing device 2 disposed facing the position determination member 124. Each paper powder removing device 2 includes: a rotating brush 21 for scrubbing the side end face Sa of the paper sheet; and a brush driving part (motor m, control part C) for rotating the rotating brush 21 at least during the period in which the paper sheet is being drawn out.
