<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracking-control method suitable for an optical pickup device for reading a signal recorded on an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: A push-pull signal generation circuit 5 for generating a tracking error signal for use in push-pull system from a signal by a quadripartite sensor 1, an object lens-shifting voltage detection circuit 7 for detecting a DC voltage supplied to a tracking coil 6 for shifting an object lens and an offset correction signal generation circuit 8 for generating an offset correction signal based on the DC voltage detected by the object lens-shifting voltage detection circuit 7 are disposed to correct offset of a tracking error signal output from the push-pull signal generation circuit 5 using the offset signal output from the offset correction signal generation circuit 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
