<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil draining tool configured to put a pan thereon which efficiently drains excessive oil in the pan in cooking using cooking oil, such as deep frying or frying. <P>SOLUTION: The oil draining tool is mounted on a trivet after the end of cooking, and a stove is turned off, the pan is put on the oil draining tool to be tilted, the excessive oil in cooking is collected at the bottom part of the inside wall of the pan, and oil is efficiently drained. The draining tool has a wave-shaped protruding portion inserted into a trivet of any shape, and two stems extending from a side of the protruding portion, and the tilted pan is stably supported by the projecting portion and two stems.
