A mobilization and exercise device comprising: a mobility mechanism for moving the device from one location to another; a base; a control system for a user to control device functions of device; a user-support arrangement including a seat with a back rest and a buttock and thigh support portion; a user/device positioning mechanism for positioning the device and user between standing, seating and prone positions; and a pneumatic arrangement comprising a body holding mechanism attached to the seat and adapted to secure the user in the device whether in a sitting, a standing or a horizontal position and adapted to allow the user to secure him/her-self without assistance.
