<p>Disclosed is a method for transmitting MTC device trigger information. An MTC server configures the content of the MTC device trigger information, and transmits the MTC device trigger information to a network node device. The network node device finds a core network device corresponding to a target user equipment, and transmits to the core network device the MTC device trigger information received. The core network device forwards the MTC device trigger information to the target user equipment via a wireless access network. The target user equipment receives the MTC device trigger information, and transmits to the core network device an MTC device trigger information confirmation message. Also disclosed are a system and the target user equipment for transmitting the MTC device trigger information. The solution of the present invention allows for the transmission of the MTC device trigger information in a 3GPP network, and defines the content of the MTC device trigger information and the solution for the network node device to handle the MTC device trigger information.</p> |
