<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination apparatus, which is easily handled, is secured in a waterproof property, and has a configuration adapted to be simplified. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination apparatus includes a lighting fixture 12 accommodating a light source 11, an arm 14 connecting the lighting fixture 12 and a fixed part 13, and a metallic fall prevention member 15 provided between the lighting fixture 12 and the fixed part 13. As the metallic fall prevention member 15 is provided between the lighting fixture 12 and the fixed part 13, a cord-shaped member having a large diameter is not required to be used, improving the handleability.
