<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divide an image into a plurality of regions, perform image processing, and then, perform image composition while improving an image quality of a composition part. <P>SOLUTION: In an image processing device 1, a division boundary detector 2 recognizes an image type of an image of a processing target for each predetermined region, and sets on the basis of the image type such a division boundary that an image quality of a composite image at the division boundary is less likely deteriorated when the image is divided into a plurality of division images at a predetermined division boundary and then combined by an image composition part 5. An image division part 3 divides the image into the division images at the division boundary. Image processing parts 4a to 4c perform predetermined image processing to the respective division images.
