<p>Provided are: a mechanism for dispensing liquid that is capable of minimizing residual liquid when dispensing liquid to the outside from a container capable of contracting and deforming in line with a reduction in the liquid contained therein; and a water server using same. This water server (1) uses the liquid dispensing mechanism for dispensing a beverage liquid to the outside from a bag (4) capable of contracting and deforming in line with the reduction in the beverage liquid contained inside same, and is configured so as to dispense the beverage liquid to a cold water tank (5) and a hot water tank (6) disposed below the bag (4), via a needle (8), by piercing the needle (8) into the container (4) in the vicinity of the bottom surface (41) of the bag (4) in a direction parallel to the bottom surface (41) or sloping downwards, and opening a hole (42) while the bag (4) is set in a prescribed position.</p> |
