<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position indicator capable of preventing a contact member from falling from a housing while keeping the contact member freely attachable to and detachable from the housing. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a cordless position indicator which is used in combination with a capacitance type position detection device so as to perform position indicating operation, the cordless position indicator including a housing which is electrically conductive, a projection part in a predetermined shape which is formed at one end of the housing and electrically conductive, a contact member which is removably engaged with the projection part, has predetermined elasticity, and electric conductivity and comes into contact with the position detection device to indicate a position, and a sleeve which has a through hole so as to expose a tip part of the contact member fitted to the projection part via the through hole when engaged with the housing, and prevents biasing force in a long-axis direction of the position indicator which is applied in response to the position indicating operation from being applied to the engagement part between the projection part and contact member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
