<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic elastic body and a method of manufacturing the same such that manufacture is facilitated and strong response to a magnetic field is made. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic elastic body 1 includes a base material 2 as an elastic body having many holes 20, and magnetic particles 4 which are included in an additive material 3 buried in some of the holes 20. The magnetic particles 4 are present not in the base material 2, but in the holes 20 of the base material 2, so the magnetic particles 4 never make elastic body characteristics of the base material 2 itself worse, the additive amount of the magnetic particles 4 can be increased, and deformation response to magnetic field strength can be made larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
