PURPOSE: A thin film solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture the thin film solar cell with a large area and high efficiency by narrowing a distance between rear electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A rear electrode layer(20) separated by a first separating unit is formed on a substrate(10). A light absorbing layer(40) separated by a second separating unit is formed on the rear electrode layer. A front electrode layer(50) separated by a third separating unit is formed on the light absorbing layer. An insulation layer(30) is formed on the first separating unit. The thickness of the insulation layer is equal to the thickness of the rear electrode layer. |
