<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode device capable of varying the light intensity of a light emitting diode while keeping a value of a current flowing to the light emitting diode constant. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting diode device 1 includes four light emitting diodes 2 for high light intensity, one light emitting diode 3 for low light intensity, an anode 61 for high light intensity which is applied with a voltage for illumination with high light intensity, an anode 62 for low light intensity which is applied with a voltage for illumination with low light intensity, a common diode 63 used in common for the high light intensity and low light intensity, and a resistor 4 for low light intensity which limits a current flowing to the light emitting diode 3 for low light intensity.
