<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for ultrasonic-welding of metal that can weld pieces of metal to be welded having contact surfaces of different sizes to a piece of welding metal respectively without using a plurality of tools. <P>SOLUTION: The method for ultrasonic-welding of metal includes: (a) a step of preparing a tool 1a for ultrasonic application, the tool 1a having a groove 4a formed on a contact surface 100a with a piece of metal 2a to be welded, and the groove 4a dividing the contact surface 100a into a plurality of divided contact surfaces 1000a; (b) a step of bringing a desired number of the divided contact surfaces 1000a of the tool 1a into contact with a piece of metal 2a to be welded, and pressing the piece of the metal 2a to be welded to a piece of welding metal 3; and (c) a step of applying ultrasonic vibration by the tool 1a, and welding the piece of welding metal 3 and the piece of metal 2 to be welded together by ultrasonic welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
