<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus and the like, with which the discontinuation of an apparatus upon detection of an abnormal voltage, such as a surge voltage or an abnormal fluctuating input voltage, can be suppressed as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: When an abnormal voltage is detected by an abnormal voltage detection means 108, a power supply to a heating object 30 is suspended, and the power supply is resumed at a zero-crossing timing detected by a zero-crossing detection means 110.
