<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device, brought under dimming control by an inverter, which maintains an LED current at a target current value under feedback control, and narrows down the LED current without making a drive frequency of the inverter not so high. <P>SOLUTION: An LED lighting device 110-1 includes a resonance capacitor 9 connected in series with a second inductor 8. In the LED lighting device 110-1, a feedback control part 105 detects a corresponding signal corresponding to an LED current flowing to an LED 13, receives a comparison object signal for comparison with the corresponding signal from a dimming controller 19, compares the corresponding signal with the comparison object signal to generate a comparison result, and outputs the generated comparison result to a voltage-controlled oscillator 20. The voltage-controlled oscillator 20 outputs a frequency control signal corresponding to the input comparison result to a driver 21.
