<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that has a simultaneous transfer and fixing device or capable of fixing an image on a transfer conveyance belt, and creates a patch for detecting density of a portion where two or more colors are overlapped so as to perform excellent image control after transfer and fixing processes. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus transfers and fixes on a conveying belt a patch for detecting density of a portion where two or more colors are overlapped, and then uses density detection means to detect color information of a toner image fixed with mixed colors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
