The system (100) has an operating system (110) that executes applications (160-1) and monitoring unit (120) that determines current state variables of a vehicle. A certificate unit (130) allows or prevents the execution of applications by operating system based on determined current state variables of the vehicle. The certificate unit determines whether application authorization data (170-1) are assigned to current state variables. The execution of application is prevented, when application authorization data for current state variables are not assigned. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) computer readable storage medium storing program for executing application of infotainment system; and (2) method for allowing or preventing execution of application on infotainment system.
