<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical modulation control method capable of suitably controlling the condensed state of laser light at a condensing spot, a control pogram, a control device, and a laser light irradiation device. <P>SOLUTION: In the control of the condensing irradiation of laser light using a spatial light modulator, the incident pattern of laser light and the refractive indices of first and second propagation media on a transmission path are acquired (step S101). The number of condensing spots, and the condensing position and the condensing intensity of each condensing spot are set (step S104), and an aberration condition generated by the first and second propagation media during propagation of the laser light is derived (step S107). Then, in view of the aberration condition, a modulation pattern presented to the spatial light modulator is designed (step S108). In the designing of the modulation pattern, a designing method focusing on the influence of a phase value in one pixel is used, and a propagation function based on the aberration condition is used when evaluating the condensed state at the condensing spot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
