<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that can sort sheets without complicated control or a configuration when sorting the sheets by delivery destinations according to lengths. <P>SOLUTION: An arm member 12 rotates only when a sheet discharged from a sheet discharging roller 15 is long and a lever 10 largely rotates, and in conjunction with the rotation, a guide lid 11 moves in a closing direction.
