<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow molding apparatus a blow molding method which can make the quality of molded products constant regardless of a season when the molding is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The first heat quantity Qk that is taken from a resin P by a mold 12 and the second heat quantity Qa that is taken from the resin P by air discharged from the inside of the resin P are calculated. When the sum of the first heat quantity Qk and the second heat quantity Qa reaches a prescribed value Qc, blowing of the air into the resin P is stopped to finish cooling of the resin P. Consequently, keeping the prescribed value Qc constant regardless of the season makes the heat quantity Qjb remaining in the resin P after the cooling of the resin is made constant regardless of the season.
