<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a more homogeneous polysaccharide derivative industrially and advantageously. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing a powdery polysaccharide derivative includes a process of reacting saccharide with a compound having a reactive functional group in the presence of a basic catalyst using a mechanical agitation-type mixing apparatus having a fluororesin-coated shaft of rotary blades. The full surface of a main shaft 3, the full surfaces of a rotary blade 4 and the inner surface of a side plate 6 corresponding to the rotary blade set at a top of the main shaft 3 are coated with the fluororesin. The resultant powdery polysaccharide derivative is preferably a cellulose derivative, and hydroxypropyl cellulose and cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose are especially preferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
