摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect whether there is an abnormal condition in a ceiling crane rail or not with a small number of members as well as with a simple treatment, automatically, quantitatively at an early stage. <P>SOLUTION: To saddles 130a, 130b of a ceiling crane rail 100, a three-axis acceleration sensor 150a, 150b which detects each acceleration value in a traveling direction (x axis) of the ceiling crane 100, a traverse direction (y axis) of the saddle 130 of the ceiling crane 100 and a height direction (z axis) of the ceiling crane 100 is mounted. From this three-axis acceleration sensor 150a, 150b, accelerations in the traveling direction of the ceiling crane 100 and the height direction are taken, and using the acceleration value in the traveling direction, the present position in the traveling direction of the ceiling crane 100 is derived, while the acceleration value in the height direction is used to detect whether the abnormal condition of the rail 210 is present or not.
