<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate construction control of asphalt pavement. <P>SOLUTION: An asphalt leveling system S comprises a road paving machine F with a screed E having a compaction tool, a compaction device V and a mixer, and an electronic material density module M installed to be used for the road paving machine F obtains data during the leveling process regarding an actual degree of compaction of an asphalt layer D produced in the area of at least one compaction tool and evaluates and/or records the data at least for operational optimization and/or operational monitoring of the road paving machine F, the compaction device V and the mixer.
