<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an input rotation member from co-rotating with respect to reverse input torque after transmission of input torque in a reverse input shutoff clutch that transmits only unidirectional input torque. <P>SOLUTION: As a lock means for engaging (locking) an input gear 1 and an output rotation member 5 such that torque can be transmitted in a fixed direction, a spring clutch using a coil spring 7 with one roll edge fixed to the input gear 1 is adopted so that between a flywheel 6 pushed and driven by the input gear 1 and a fixed shaft 2, a unidirectional clutch 8, which idles the flywheel 6 in a constant direction and engages the fixed shaft 2 so as to stop against a rotation in a reverse direction, is incorporated, and when input torque supply in the fixed direction is terminated, the flywheel 6 runs by inertia so as to push the roll edge on the free side of the coil spring 7 and stop without causing a reverse rotation after a lock state between the input gear 1 and the output rotation member 5 is released by the spring clutch, so that the lock release state is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
