This display includes a light source, a light guide plate having a side surface constituting a light-receiving surface on which light emitted from the light source is incident, a bottom surface, and a surface constituting a light-emitting surface, a plurality of light directing portions provided on the bottom surface of the light guide plate, directing the light incident on the light guide plate to the light-emitting surface, and a display cell arranged on the light-emitting surface of the light guide plate, while the plurality of light directing portions are so arranged that at least either arrangement intervals between the plurality of light directing portions or areas of the plurality of light directing portions are irregular. |
