<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel material having sufficiently-high swelling properties to nonaqueous solvents such as a carbonate-based solvent, lactone-based solvent, nitrile-based solvent, ether-based solvent and alcohol-based solvent, and having excellent mechanical properties. <P>SOLUTION: This organic/inorganic complex gel is obtained by making a nonaqueous solvent, selected from a carbonate-based solvent, lactone-based solvent, nitrile-based solvent, ether-based solvent and alcohol-based solvent, which has a metal salt (C) of group I or group II element of the periodic table, included at only small concentration in the organic/inorganic gel having a network comprising a polymer of a water-soluble radically polymerizable organic monomer (A) having specific composition and a water-swellable clay mineral (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
