<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosynthesis promoter with a high photosynthesis promotion effect, and a method for promoting photosynthesis. <P>SOLUTION: The photosynthesis promoter includes magnesium phosphite and has a photosynthesis promotion effect higher than conventional photosynthesis promoters.
