<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give notification that a detection area set within the field angle of an image to be taken is deviated from the detection area at the time of setting, due to change in the field angle. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device sets a detection area for detecting an object being monitored within the field angle of an image to be taken and detects the object being monitored from the taken image on the basis of the set detection area. Then, the monitoring device acquires the position of a field angle at the time of detection and when it is determined that the acquired position of the field angle is not equal to the position of the field angle when the detection area is set, determines the detection state to be ineffective and informs an information processor that the detection area is deviated from the set area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
